Putu Maryam, founder of Floating Leaf. Her roots trace back to The Balinese Royal Family of Karangasem. Raised with traditional dances, healing arts, and Balinese culture, Putu brings authenticity to your experience.

Her deep connection to the island enriches your stay, providing meaningful touchstones into local culture and hidden gems. Putu’s relations ensure that each retreat embraces religious and cultural events, from ceremonies to palace visits.

In her previous life, Putu owned and managed a renowned spa in central California. Now, she infuses Floating Leaf’s Melati Spa with state-of-the-art Western techniques while preserving centuries-old Balinese secrets.
